Legitimate Work at Home Opportunities - Discover What Makes a Bad Opportunity Bad By Jass of Cashsee.com
The legitimate work at home opportunities can be made to appear very suspect by a
hand full of unscrupulous people the same way an illegitimate opportunity can be made to look
legit by the same group of charlatans. The key to seeing through this is to learn how to better
understand people and the laws that govern our industry. The more you understand people,
psychology and motives, the better you'll be able to steer clear of the not so obvious scams as
well.
The greatest reason people get involved with scams and don't actually find the legitimate work
at home opportunities is because they are overtaken by emotion. Emotions are a powerful drug
that can make you do some pretty DUMB things. I'm guilty of this myself. For example, I bought
a $740,000 house for my mother just three houses down the block from my home in the height of
the real estate market. My emotions drve me to do this so she could be close to her
grandchildren during her retiremen years. Now some would say it was a kind gesture, but when
the housing market tanked and the mortgage became a burden on me and everyone else, my choice
was exposed for what it really was, a DUMB emotional decision made on my part.
When looking for legitimate work at home opportunities you must leave your emotions at the door
and here's why? The emotion you allow to creep into your decision making process in the
beginning will soon disappear when its actually time to put the work in to make it a reality.
I'm not saying that emotions are a bad thing as they cause us to take most of the action we
take in our lives, but too much emotion creates a delusion which results in bad decision making.
Count the costs before you make a decision to get involved in a legitimate work at home
opportunity. Make sure its sustainable, you are willing to give what it takes to make it happen
and that it will give you what you are looking for as well (i.e. income, time freedom,
leverage, etc.). And remember this, the legitimacy of an opportunity is not only determined by
the companies products or practices but instead by a persons commitment to make it work. Many
legitimate work at home opportunities are considered scams simply because people unwilling to
dedicate themselves to hard work said they were.
